Mr. Bean is a 2002 animated television series based on the 1990 British TV series Mr. Bean. Characters from the original live action series included Mr. Bean, Irma Gobb, Teddy and the mysterious driver of the Reliant Supervan, with the addition of Mrs. Wicket, Bean's landlady, and her evil cat Scrapper.
Season 1 had a total of 16 episodes, and began broadcasting in January 2002. It had a regular saturday night prime-time slot on ITV1. However, the final two episodes were delayed for several weeks due to schedule changes.
Season 2 also had a total of 16 episodes, and was broadcast in early 2003. It was the last series to be given a prime-time saturday slot.
Season 3 had a total of 20 episodes, and was broadcast in mid-2004. It was the only series to feature on CITV in a regular daytime slot, rather than a prime-time slot. However, once again, two episodes were shown long after the series should have finished.
